EXPERT AS PART OF AN IN-PERSON PANEL – Richie was invited as part of a high-profile select group of 21 speakers to join a panel at the WION Summit 2022 held in Dubai on global trade wars (WION is the major English-speaking news channel from India). The moderator was WION news anchor and managing editor Palki Sharma.
EXPERT ON A PANEL – Richie took part at Istanbul Fintech Week 2023 in April. Richie’s panel starts at 1hour 24 minutes (although panel was in English and most of the event the video is dubbed in Turkish for Bloomberg HT Turkey)
MC A VIRTUAL STARTUP COMPETITION – Richie was invited to host and MC Visa’s Everywhere Initiative 2022 Central Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA) regional finals, which aimed to find the most promising startups in the region that would ultimately compete in Visa’s global finals in Qatar in conjunction with the FIFA World Cup (which Visa is one of the main sponsors).
MODERATE AN IN-PERSON EVENT – As one of the world’s first major trade shows to happen during the height of the coronavirus, Richie was invited to moderate a panel at one of GITEX’s events called Marketing Mania end of 2020, which was held live in-person in Dubai.
MODERATE AN IN-PERSON KEYNOTE INTERVIEW – As one of the first few events to happen in 2020 since the height of the pandemic, Dubai hosted a hybrid-version Seamless Middle East 2020, a major regional trade show focused on digital and fintech. Richie moderated a keynote interview with Dubai International Financial Centre’s Raja al Mazrouei.
EXPERT ACADEMIC LECTURE AND WORKSHOP IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL – Richie adjunct lectures and was invited as an expert to give a lecture on globalization to a group of MBA students mainly hailing from India with SP Jain School of Management, one of the country’s leading universities. He did this in person at their campus in a classroom which most of the participants attended virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions.
EXPERT AS PART OF AN IN-PERSON PANEL – In 2021 Richie was invited to join a panel in-person on banking and finance in the Middle East region. This was mainly with one of Richie’s hat in fintech.
MODERATING A VIRTUAL PANEL – Richie moderated a panel on fintech in Africa, which was with one of his hats in the fintech sector space back in July 2021 as part of Fintech Week London.
EXPERT TALKING VIRTUALLY – Richie was invited to discuss virtually on economic development with Nigerian-based Coin News Extra.
INTERVIEWER IN-PERSON – Richie, with the Institute of Export and International Trade UK, gave an in-person interview with the now called Ministry of Defence UK with regards to international trade.
MODERATOR AND HOST OF WEBINAR – Richie with his fintech hat hosted a global webinar with The Fintech Times on the topic of zero trust and cybersecurity as a whole.
INTERVIEWER VIRTUALLY – Richie with The Fintech Times interviews the Ghana Fintech and Payments Association to understand more about the wider fintech scene in the country and the African continent as a whole.
